Day 9 – Ilwaco, WA to Portland, OR
We will be starting the day with a trip out to Cape Disappointment (assuming it isn’t raining), then will be heading up the Long Beach Peninsula to explore the hamlets of Long Beach, Ocean Park, and Oysterville. We will then head east towards Rosburg, where we will have a picnic lunch of leftovers at Washington’s only covered bridge. After lunch we will continue east to Longview where we will cross over the Columbia River and follow it down on the Oregon side to Portland. Once in Portland everything is up in the air. We have a bunch of restaurants to visit, places to shop, and things to do. I will still be posting my updates for the day, but may not post a daily overview in the morning.
