Day 12 – Portland, OR to Coeur d’Alene, ID

We will be heading east once rush hour has eased off and will continue on the south side of the Columbia River until just past The Dalles. We will then cross over the Columbia into Washington and will head up through Kennewick where we will stop for some thin-crust pizza for lunch at New York Richie’s.

After lunch, we will continue up US-395 until it meets up with I-90 in Ritzville, then we will take the Interstate to Spokane. We plan on wandering around Spokane (depending on the weather), and will have dinner at the Elk Public House. After dinner we will head to our hotel in Coeur d’Alene, ID.
